Firnenburg and Puccio at the top
8B/C and 8B boulder respectively for the german and the american climbers17 April 2017
In Magic Wood (Switzerland), the german climber David Firnenburg repeated Practice of the wild, 8C climbed by Chris Sharma and sent also by Gabriele Moroni one year ago.
Even if this could be his first 8C boulder, David gives a personal grade of 8B+ and declares:
"If I compare POTW with New Base Line for example I would say they are the same challenge more or less. Though, POTW didn't feel like a real 8C to me. Not like this significant step towards another higher level compared to the other 8B+'s I've done in the past. I really want to be convinced by the difficulty of a climb to call it my first 8C boulder."
In the meanwhile, in Leavenworth (United States), Alex Puccio is coming back to top of world bouldering and sends The Tea Cup, 8B.
