Climbing will be at Paris 2024

More climbers and more medals

Sport climbing has been confirmed in Paris 2024.

So it’s official: we will see sport climbing also in Paris 2024! The IFSC says: “The IOC Executive Board met today and officially included Sport Climbing in the Paris 2024 Sports Programme!”

The biggest change is for sure the format: we will have 12 medals despite the 6 in Tokyo, because there will be speed and a combined ranking between lead and boulder. Also the athletes will have more space, with 64 places for them.
