The sixth 8B+ by Alex Puccio!
Super Low Chimichanga Right in Coal Creek15 May 2020
The bouldering queen is back with another great ascent
We don't have many details yet, except the news that Alex Puccio has climbed her sixth 8B+ boulder and it is the only woman so far to have such a number in the curriculum!
In fact, she climbed Super Low Chimichanga Right in Coal Creek which she describes on her profile 8a.nu:
"Adds a 4 move V8-9 into the V13. Chimichanga is really my style to a T so not too sure of the grade. The super low is definitely harder the shorter you are. You have to do more moves and get really spread out!"
In addition to the latter line, we recall that Alex previously climbed the 8B+ of Heritage (Valle Bavona), New Base Line (Magic Wood), Penrose Step (Leavenworth), The Wheel of Chaos (RMNP) and Jade (RMNP ).
The photo above is taken from Puccio's Instagram profile and dates back to last year, when she sent the other versions of Chimichanga.
