Jorg Verhoeven climbs The Wheel of Life
The 8c must with more that 60 moves
04 November 2015Jorg Verhoeven resolved the famous The Wheel of Life, a great line in the Grampians, Australia, opened by Dai Koyamada and graded 8c boulder. This is a more than 60 moves long and Jorg spent 5 days working it. Verhoeven is one of the most polyvalent climbers that, after a past in the World Cup Circuit, dedicate himself to great adventure, like the free ascent of The Nose, or boulder challenge like this one.
After Koyamda, other ascents were done by Chris Webb Parsons, Ethen Pringle, James Kassay, Benjamin P. Cossey (personal 8b+), Dave Graham, Ian Dory, again Kassay with a different top, followed by Daniel Woods also. For Graham, an 9a+ sport grade is correct cause the line of Wheel is too different from other problems of same grade.
