Another great ascent for Dave Graham
Always in Rocklands, Dave does the first ascent of a new 8C29 August 2018
After twenty years at the top, Graham does not seem to be tired of new challenges!
The Dave Graham season in Rocklands has been undoubtedly exceptional, not only because of the hardness of the lines he climbed but also because of their quality and importance, as proved by the very recent ascent of Black Eagle Sit Start, a forgotten masterpiece by Fred Nicole that Dave brought back to life.
Now another great new exploit! From his instagram profile, Dave announces the first ascent of Parzival, a new and spectacular 8C:
"This amazing line baffled me the first time I saw it years ago; it looked super cool but I had no clue how to climb it. After stumbling upon it again during a hike this this season I saw astonished that it possibly could work, and if so, it would be a crazy epic two-part rig which sits at the base of this crazy disc shaped bloc suspended over a small canyon and summits directly up the prow."
In fact from the photo reported we can not but admire the beauty of this last South African masterpiece.
