20 May Babsi Zangerl, passion and versatility
From boulder to multipitch. This is the life of a professional climber, even though she’s a "pro" 100%, as she holds on to her job as an assistant radiologist and it seems that this is not so bad to face training and performance.
After making the presence at Melloblocco, where there she has climbed five blocks and she finished third, polyvalent Barbara Zangerl is spun straight straight in Verdon, a place that, curiously had never visited. "The first morning we went hunting for Take It or Leave It, and we had a fantastic day on this line. Jacopo climbed RP all lengths and I behind him. I was not only able to find a solution for the dynamic key length but it was fun anyway climb this legendary line. Since that day, however, I had the head on Tom et Je Ris (8b+), climbed by Jacopo two years ago and which requires a long and complex approach. I was very happy to do it the next day because there is no heating there, I uphill at the first attempt after seeing it. The next day we moved to repeat the Ramirole (8a +, 8a, 8b, 8a +, 6c) but for luck of time we moved on the short and intense Papy que Devers. On La Ramirole, made later, climbing is very different from the usual; this is not the usual vertical walls and technicians Verdon but spread over incredible tufas. "
Returning from France, Babsi also closed 8c: Schwarzer Schwan in Otlztal, "a boulder way about 15 meters that after the Verdon with its long routes, I particularly appreciated, because it is the place where I started to living outdoors, when I was 14 ".
