13 Jul Broad Peak – new route on the Nord summit

 
Alberto Iñurrategi, Juan Vallejo and Mikel Zabalza, the Basque climbers of Naturgas Broad Peak 2010 expedición, have established  a new route in alpine style on the North Summit of Broad Peak (7.550 m) in Karakorum – Pakistan. 
The trio planned a new route across Broad Peak 3 summits, but on saturday – after reaching the Col between North and Central summit  – were pushed back in reason of strong wind.
They are now at the BC waiting for a good weather window to do another attempt.
