11 May Dome Kang to the Spanish team

 
The expedition – leaded by Salvador García-Atance that since 1994 planned the first ascent of Dome Kang – was since one month in Janak Himal at 20 km from Kangchenjunga. On april 28th Carlos Soria e Tente Lagunilla and 3 sherpas summited Dome Kang 7264 meters, after a bivy at 7150 meters. The peak was focused by many teams (slovenian in 1983, irish in 1998 and spanish in 2004 and 2006). The Spanish team that first climbed the mountain in april 2009 used 1500meters of fix ropes.
