Nevertheless a teenager anylonger, Patrick Gabarrou is able to find new routes hidden even in very busy mountains: what is sure is that his eyes can see what others don’t.
So recently together with Simon Deniel first climbed a new line 1,000 meters long on the north east wall of the Dent Blanche (4,356m), during a very cold day.
The first route on that wall was climbed by Karl Schneider and Franz Singer in 1932, then in 1966 Michel and Yvette Vaucher made a more direct itinerary.
