30 Jun Jenny Lavarda send Reini’s Vibes 8c/8c+ at Massone

 
After Luisa Jovane’s farewell to the competions, it is sure that Jenny Lavarda is her natural heiress and moves forward on high difficulties with astonishing acheivements.
 
On June 18, 2009, the 25 year old Italian, from Marostica (Northern Italy), redpointed Reini’s Vibes (8c/8c+ or 5.14b/c) at Massone Arco, in Italy, for the first female ascent of the route.
 
Lavarda has climbed this grade before, in 2006, when she made a redpoint of Claudio Cafè 8c/8c+ in Terra Promessa  an onsighted several 8a+ (5.13c) "Spit Bull” and “Slip Bouse” at Saint Lèger du Ventoux  and “Encore” at Ceuse and sent another 8b (5.13d) on her second attempt in Boscoverde.
 

“June 18 was a great day, my small, but big dream became true” – Jenny writes on her blog –  “I sent one of the most meaningfull routes of the “historic” Massone sector of Pueblo, sending a myth as Reini’s Vibes 8c/8c+…, after only few meters of attempts!”
 


 
 Now Jenny is leaving to the World Championship in China.
