Adam Ondra has made the first ascent of Kout Pikle, 9a +.
“This could be 9b almost for sure!”Adam Ondra comments on his latest extreme first ascent. The pitch is located in Moravsky Kras and is a new test piece for all climbers looking for satisfaction in physical and violent pitches.
The first section of Kout Pikle is really extreme: a boulder problem in the 8C range! Starting with a similar difficulty is something really close to the limits of the human! If you then add an 8c pitch, then the games really become for a few part of climbers.
Also, Adam commented on the big in general: “The grade is between 9a + and 9b, but we’re on the safe side with a solid 9a!“
