07 Sep Paige Claassen climbs Dreamcatcher!
Paige Claassen has climbed Dreamcatcher, 9a.
Talking about the series “route and Route”, here we are with a new chapter. Shortly: Paige Claassen has climbed Dreamcatcher, the 9a route that is the symbol of Squamish. The line is simply amazing and everybody can recognize it. It runs the arete of the Cacodemon boulder and in few spits it frees all its beauty. The first ascent is by the king Chris Sharma back in 2005; despite the long time filled, not a lot of climbers have been able to climb it.
For Paige is just another brick in her brilliant vertical career. The first 9a has been sent back in 2019, when in Rifle she climbed Shadowboxing. In her curriculum, we can find the great american classics. like Just Do it or Necessary evil. The process has been quite short, Paige Claassen has spent just two weeks projecting Dreamcatcher, falling two times on the top of the route.
