In spite of the bad weather that gives some rain every day, Iker and Eneko Pou, together with Manu Ponce and Jordi Canyigueral, started their adventure on the Pico Cão Grande, mountain of Africa with a unique shape and structure in the world.

From the initial plan to climb free Nubivagant or to open a new route, the four did a hybrid of the two, climbing free the forst part of existing route and then opening a new one for some other pitches. All this not without danger, however, because Eneko has risked with a 100 kg stone that hit him, fortunately without too many consequences, but that could become a real mange (they simplify the speech). A peculiarity of this expedition is that the base camp is at the base of the wall, practically close to the rock, and every cleaning work tilts all the material on the curtains. Not to mention the “night life” of the island of São Tomé and Príncipe, which, on the contrary of the day, is populated by screaming and creeping animals, not always easy to spot and maybe not nice to meet. In short, even a night swim in the bathroom is a problem. All excellent requirements therefore for a good story in perfect Pou Hermanos style!
