Last days of August, Leopoldo "Leo" Faria and Pedro “Primo” Nogueira established the second redpoint of Quinto Imperio (500m 8b) on the west face of Spain’s most famous big wall, Naranjo de Bulnes (or Picu Urriellu 2519m).
The route was first climbed by two young portuguese climbers Sérgio Martins and Francisco Ataíde, and redpointed on 2009 june 9 by the Basque brothers Iker and Eneko Pou.
Faria and Noguiera suggested grade 8a instead of 8b.
On their first attempt they had to return due to a thunderstorm, but on August 26th they free climbed all pitches after two days of climbing on their second attempt.
