Jacopo Larcher has signed the first ascent of Sprengstoff, where he proposes the 9a grade.

Bolted by Beat Kammerlander around 25 years ago, the route was still unclimbed. Jacopo, far from the commercial style of climbing, has established a real important FA. The route is really hard and old but, moreover, this ascent could be a great start for Lorunser. In his post, Jacopo tells us that the area is amazing, not only for the climbers. Despite the huge number of climbers that have tried the route, nobody has been able to climb it until now, but with the times the line has become harder, due to some broken holds. Jacopo has tried this route during different years, but he has always been rejected by the crux, an extreme shoulder move at the third bolt. Thanks to the amazing shape, this time he felt really solid on the move and this has been enough for grabbing the first ascent.

Unfortunately, The crag is close to a quarry, which nowadays hasthe permission to extend its property, putting all the sector in blast danger! Jacopo has already written on his social channels about this, what will happen?
