The Ultra-Trail Mt. Fuji takes place from Friday, April 27 to Sunday, April 29 (3 days).

The Ultra-Trail Mt. Fuji is an unparalleled trail running race settled in Japan, around the foothills of Mt. Fuji. The race track follows mountain trails, local footpaths and forest roads, allowing participants to enjoy majestic views of Mt. Fuji while experiencing the stunning natural beauty and culture of this region.

There are two race categories within the Ultra-Trail Mt. Fuji: The “UTMF” (Ultra-Trail Mt. Fuji) which takes racers around the areas surrounding Mt. Fuji and the “Sty” (Shizuoka to Yamanashi) which goes half way around Mt. Fuji.

UTMF (ULTRA-TRAIL Mt. FUJI), 170 km, cumulative altitude gain 8000 m, time limit 46 hours, number of racers: 1400. Starting at 15:00 noon on Friday, April 27 from Fujisan Kodomo-no-Kuni, Fuji-shi, Shizuoka Prefecture. Finish in Ohike Kouen, Kawaguchiko, Fujikawaguchiko-cho, Yamanashi Prefecture.

STY (SHIZUOKA TO YAMANASHI), 92 km, cumulative altitude gain 4100 m, time limit 20 hours, number of racers 1000. Starting at 12:00 pm. on Friday, April 27 from Fujisan Kodomo-no-Kuni, Fuji-shi, Shizuoka Prefecture. Finish in Ohike Kouen, Kawaguchiko, Fujikawaguchiko-cho, Yamanashi Prefecture.
