28 Sep Makalu (8463m) summit for Ueli Steck

 
 
Ueli Steck summited on September 24 Makalu on the normal route.
With him, up to 7900 m. the photograph Robert Boesch.
The same day Ueli was back to C3 at 7350 m and on 25 back again at BC.
The original Ueli’s plan to solooing the difficult West Pillar is at this moment uncertain, in reason of  haevy snow and dangers of the route. (UpClimbing 23 sept.)
