20 Jul Iagnemma sends also Black Eagle Sit!

Days of great results for Italian boulderers!

We left yesterday with Stefan Scarperi and his three 8Bs in one day and today we are back with two other italian climbers in action at high levels!

At Rocklands, Elias Iagnemma is back again, with another boulder problem that is a symbol of South Africa. Elias has in fact sent Black Eagle Sit, a line of 8B+ (formerly 8C) also signed by Fred Nicole and which was one of the first for which this area became famous in the world. In his Instagram post, Elias reveals that he is having some problems with both a finger and skin, and so who knows what he could do in better conditions… So let’s hope he will solve soon these problems to finish his journey even better!

Let’s then move from Rocklands sandstone to the granite at the height of the Gottardo Pass: here Simone Tentori climbed one of the most beautiful lines in the area, Stairway to Heaven, a magnificent 8B by Giuliano Cameroni and of which Simone has posted the video of the climb on Instagram. Only a few days ago, still at the Gotthard, Simone also climbed Kingda Ka, another 8B by Cameroni.
