9a+ for Nolwen Berthier!

Nolwen Berthier has climbed Supercrackinette, 9a+!
Great result for the French climber Nolwen Berthier, who reaches grade nine directly by jumping 9a. In the magnificent French crag of Saint Léger du Ventoux, Nolwen has climbed Supercrackinette, the legendary 9a+.
The performance is of an absolute level, before her only five women had managed to climb a route of such difficulty. Getting straight to 9a+ without going through 9a indicates great physical fitness and great confidence, but also a great deal of confidence in one's abilities. If we calculate that Eagle 4 is officially 9a+, Supercrackinette is not only one of the hardest routes in France, but we can even "rank" Nolwen's performance at the top of the feats of French climbers, together with compatriot Julia Chanourdie.
For history lovers, the pitch was bolted by Quentin Chastagnier and in 2016 Alex Megos made the first free ascent. Famous for being an extremely continuous shot on small notches, it exploded when Adam Ondra succeeded in the flash ascent, writing another page in the history of climbing.
