A very strong performance for Alessandro Larcher who climbed his first 9a, in Arco di Trento.

After many adventures in the mountains, last week Alessandro Larcher stamped a true top performance and hit his first 9a climbing Thunder Ribes in Massone, Arco di Trento area.

"I don't know exactly what happened on Monday. I was at the crag of Arco with my dear friend Cesar Grosso, I started climbing and I found myself passing the rope in the chain of Thunder Ribes, my first 9a.

In a second, all the joys and emotions of this success came out in a cry of joy. This way will be forever in my head. Closing a 9a is the dream of every climber but for me it represents something more personal.

It's my farewell to Arco and the Trentino as I will have to move to university. It is a great and radical change for me; I love these places but I can't help but take this new possibility that I have. "
