Angie Scarth-Johnson, 8c+ at Red River Gorge
The young Australian climber could do better then Ondra14 April 2017
Incredible performance by Angie Scarth-Johnsion that topped an 8c+ route in Red River Gorge doing an ascent of Lucifer. This little champion is near to do better then Adam Ondra that did his first 9a when he was 13 years old. Angie in fact is 11 now.
Climbed first time by Mike Doyle in 2006, Luciferi s a superclassic route in RG. In these years, a lot of best climbers did it like Chris Sharma, Jonathna Siegrist or Daniel Woods, the young Kai Lightner and Drew Ruana and Italian climber Stefano Ghisolfi.
In 2011, Sasha DiGiulian did the first female ascent and after also Ashima Shiraishi and Michaela Kiersch.
