Davide Carena climbs Last Man 8c/+ and frees Mana 8b+

Strong Italian climber goes hard at Albenga and Finale

05 March 2019
Davide Carenaclimbs hard in various crags near his hometown and takes home an 8c/+ does the FA of a "airy" 8b+ with a nice story behind.

Weeks full of satisfactions for the strong Davide Carena that this year seems to have really put an extra gear and is working hard in some selective crags and not only. The last, in order of time, is the repetition of Last Man, route at Castelbianco opened in 2015 by Matteo Gambaro of 8c/+ while in February Davide had climbed two 8b+ repeating Sevedemos to Albenga but above all freeing Mana, second pitch on an overhanging prow that his dad Mauro bolted years ago dedicating it to his grandmother and for now not climbed. For those who want to go and repeat it is important downhill to pass the fixed to be able to resume the niche from which it starts and use a minimum rope of 80 meters.
