[VIDEO] Interview to Adam Ondra
Agonismo, competitions and Combined for the Czech champion18 October 2018
Adam Ondra is today the strongest climber in the world, undoubtedly. What he did in recent years is simply superhuman and is ahead of others by at least 10 years (it will be seen for example when there will be the first repeat of Silence) and has known like no other win in competitive races and climb a number of shots and routes of extreme difficulty around every corner of the globe.
The recent World Championship in Innsbruck saw him take second place behind the Austrian war machine Jakob Schubert. In 2016 in Paris he won the title in the Lead discipline but in 2014, with a never seen before, he was placed in first place in Boulder and in the rope. Real Martian stuff!
In this interview, in English and subtitled in Spanish but very understandable, Adam talks about the preparation for the races, the tracking, the importance of the team and his teammates and everything that characterizes the life of an athlete but also how it has changed and is changing from an Olympic point of view with the arrival of the Combined, notoriously indigestible specialty at the very strong Czech champion.
