Jakob Schubert climbs Weisse Rose, not famous 9a by Alex Huber

Only three ascent in over 25 years

02 May 2020
Jakob Schubert hits the repeat of Weisse Rose, Alex Huber's 9a opened in 1994.

Timidly the performance on the crags starts again and some are immediately talked about. Not at all debilitated by the forced quarantine in fact, the Austrian machine Jakob Schubert scored one of his master shots and signed the third ascent of Weisse Rose, 9a pitch on the Schleierwasserfall, in Austria, freed by Alex Huber in 1994 and since then repeated only by Adam Ondra in 2008 who claimed that the difficulty was a solid 9a.
