[VIDEO] Jakob Schubert climbs Perfecto Mundo, 9b+
The very strong Austrian athlete on his biggest realization19 March 2020
Here is the video of the Austrian champion Jakob Schubert during the ascent of Perfecto Mundo to Margalef, his first 9b+.
In November 2019, the climber of Austrian national team Jakob Schubert became the fifth climber in the world to close a 9b+ thanks to the ascent of Perfecto Mundo, route at Margalef freed by Alex Megos and then repeated by Stefano Ghisolfi.
This performance has certainly been the most important so far of Schubert's career and he has consecrated 2019 as a year to be framed, also considering the qualification for Tokyo 2020.
The first to land at this level was Adam Ondra who in 2012 had released The Change in Norway followed by Chris Sharma who in 2013 repeated La Dura Dura in Oliana, Spain, (for the record, released by Ondra himself).
