The French athlete closes Super Crackinette14 March 2020
French climber Julia Chanourdie resolved her first 9a+ climbing Super Crackinette in St. Léger.
After gaining the qualification for Tokyo 2020, the climber of the French national team Julia Chanourdie enters history also climbing a 9a+ at the crag. This is Super Crackinette, a famous route in St. Léger, and represents for her a level never reached before.
Super Crackinette was released in 2016 by Alex Megos and then climbed by Adam Ondra with an extraordinary flash performance (the first in the world on this difficulty) and then by Gérôme Pouvreau both in 2018.
The climb of Julia is therefore the fourth absolute of the route and is also the first French climber to climb a 9a+.
