First 9a+ of the year for Adam Ondra that resolves Catxasa
Return to Santa Linya for the Czech champion
12 February 2019First 9a+ of the year for Adam Ondra that in Santa Linya closed the accounts with Catxasa, tried for the first time in 2010 and never fully climbed.
Back to the rock and in Spain for Adam Ondra. The champion of champions spent a lot of time in the Americas, first in the USA and then in Chile, in the magnificent Valle de Los Condores where he also climbed a 9a, before returning to the land that gave him an infinity of satisfactions.
Here he finally resolved a 9a+ that he lacked in the curriculum, Catxasa, bolted by Dani Andrada and freed by his friend Chris Sharma in 2011 and that represents for him the first route of this grade solved this year.
In fact, after spending some weeks in the new world, Adam has spent a month to train hard with Patxi Usobiaga, a practice that the immense Czech climber has been following for years and that has strengthened him as we all know.
