Ramonet, no IFSC Comp in Arco but opens a new 9a
A new lifestyle for Spanish champion?31 July 2018
For the highly popular champion Ramon Julian Puigblanque, a new era is perhaps opening up made more of rock than plastic, where, it is clear, he must not really prove anything to anyone.
Winner in the World Cup circuit, in the World Championship and as many as seven (seven !!) Rock Master, the 36-year-old climber did not appear in Arco, where he was always welcomed as an honorary citizen, preferring instead a first ascent in his country. After the Briançon competition in fact, where he finished with an eleventh place, Ramon went to Collsuspina where he freed Esclafit, a route that graded 9a and very close in style to climbing in Frankenjura.
On his social networks, Ramonet also talks about various projects around Spain and other locations. So that a new future for Puigblanque can be seen on the horizon made even more liberated or repeated routes (with already a hallucinatory record) instead of competitions? Meanwhile, we are going to see, once again certain that this incredible climber will do something masterly.
