Thomas Blaabjerg climbs Joe Cita and becomes the first Danish climber to do a 9a route.
Historical performance for young Thomas Blaabjerg that at Oliana resolved Joe Cita, route opened by Adam Ondra in 2012, becoming in this way the first climber from Denmark able to do a pitch of this grade. It would not be surprising if, cause an accident, Thomas is forced to move with crutches, including approaches! A problem of ambulation that certainly does not prevent him from climbing like an obsessive thanks animated, from a truly unstoppable passion, as we have already pointed out during his recent ascent of Joe Blau. And if Joe Cita isn’t sound new, we are not in wrong because it was in fact the route that Laura Rogora did in February 2017, centering her second 9a.
