Tomás Ravanal is the first Chilean to climb a 9a

At Siurana he climbs Estado Critico

Tomás Ravanal is the first Chilean climber able to do a 9a route having done Estado Critico at Siurana, the famous route resolved on sight by Alex Megos in 2013. Tomás started to climb 12 years ago, when he was 12, and in three years resolved the 8c. From some time he lives in Spain in a van and travel Europe to climb. Last year he was very near to close the pitch but a very serious injury kept him away from the route till now, where he completed the project.
