Quentin Chastagnier free on Elixir 8c+

The most difficult route of the Grenoble's area

07 December 2009   Quentin Chastagnier has done the FA of Elixir 8c+ in Tetard Park sector of  St.Pancrasse crag, in the area of Grenoble.   The route was bolted during last spring b Chastagnier la primavera scorsa, at the same time that two others,  « “Les pères chartreux “ e “le Bat”, next to Elixir   In an interview at Kairn Quentin so describes the new itinerary : after 20 meters 7c+/8a on a yellow rock, there is a rest under a small roof and then about 15 difficult moves all on fingers on a blue bombé. At the end a kind of "reward" on a easy dalle with big holes.   St Pancrasse (or Luisset) is a beautiful site near Grenoble, facing the Grésivaudan valley and hosts a lot of any level routes.   interview in french: kairn.com ms
