Siegrist on Ghisolfi's 9b

He climbed Lapsus

28 October 2021
Jonathan Siegrist repeats Lapsus, 9b.

The big names that climbed in Andonno are really a lot and everyone of them has contributed to give an iconical atmosphere to this crag . It is not a mistake if there are people in Cuneo coming from the USA for climbing…

After a rest period, Jonathan Siegrist has taken the flight to Cuneo, for coming back in Andonno and trying Lapsus, the hardest route there and also the first 9b in Italy. After falling more than once at the top, he grabbed the fourth ascent of this route, right after Stefano Ghisolfi, Adam Ondra and Marcello Bombardi. As Marcello said, the Jonathan’s opinion is "low end 9b", the new way to say "soft".
