Solveig Korherr on Zor
Another 8c for the German10 February 2021
Solveig Korherr has climbed Zor, 8c.
The 22 years old German climber adds another hard route on her list. This time we are in Turkey, an area that has become really famous because of the last “9a” ascents by Megos and Smolensky: Phantastica and Turkish Haircut. Actually, Solveig is still there, since two months and without a date for back at home. She has put her attention on Zor, a route graded 8c in Datca, one of the hardest in the crag. She has spent ten days on the project and ten “good attempts” for climbing it in redpoint. In the first part, we have the crux, which is the biggest challenge for Solveig: she has has worked hard to figure out a proper beta and, in the end, it has worked right. After it, a long pumpy route takes you to the anchor.
