Cesen and Lindic to the top of Gasherbrum IV
Fourth ascet of North-West ridge30 July 2016
Aleš Česen, the son of great Tomo Česen, and Luka Lindič reached the top of Gasherbrum IV, exactly the North Summit, climbing the North-West Ridge in 5 days, from 23th to 28th July. The two first did the Broad Peak, the only one ascent this year cause no good condition and weather, and than changed also their initial plane to do the great West Wall.
This is the forth ascent of NW Ridge. In 1986, Greg Child, Tom Hargis e Tim Macartney did the first one nut only in 1999 Korean Kang Yeon-Ryong and Yun Chi-Won were able to reach the top again. In 2008 Alberto Inurrategi, Ferran Latorre, Jose Carlos Tamayo, Juan Vallejo and Mikel Zabalza did the third.
