Goodbye to the great speleologist Giovanni Badino
He left us on Tuesday, after a long illness11 August 2017
Died at the age of 64, after a long illness, the speleologist and physician professor Giovanni Badino.
Giovanni, a great speleology enthusiast, collaborator with National Geographic, during his lifetime traveled and explored in a long way off.
Nepal, Uzbekistan, Brasile, Argentina, Pakistan, Venezuela , Messico, Cile, Filippine,Urali, Islanda, Antartide.
Since 2006 he has co-ordinated Proyecto Naica in the incredible Mexican caves marked by the presence of huge crystals at temperatures up to 46 degrees.
Unfortunately, the caves, which are then discovered, are destined to return underwater, as National Geographic had told.
Giovanni was also a professor of experimental physics at the University of Torino, a physics specialist in cosmic rays and, in no case, his latest studies focused on the thermodynamics of underground fluids.
