New M11 route in Canmore, Alberta

By Will Gadd, Will Mayo, Pat Delaney, and John Freeman

16 January 2013   Will Gadd, Will Mayo, Pat Delaney, and John Freeman have freed Nophobia, a M11 route in the remote Ghost Area in Canmore, Canada.  The four have claimed a collective FA: "This was such a huge effort from Will, John, Pat and myself that we all agreed that the FA would be for all of us; who redpointed it first was irrelevant," Gadd said in an email to Rock and Ice.  The route consists of 5 pitches up to M11, with a 15 metres roof and a total of 50 metres of overhang.
