Zillertal New mixed route by Leichtfried and Purner

Alpine Guides from Austria Albert Leichtfried and Benni Purner were again in action after Moonwalk and Centercourt so on February 10 carried out the first ascent of a nice mixed (even if mostly on ice) route in Zillertal.
The route is located near the famous Nosferatu in a granite wall near the village of Ginzling, in the Zemmtal (a small valley of the main valley Zillertal).
The duo protected the route with pegs and bolts, then 5 days later returned for the redpoint.

Descent: Abalakov
The Zillertal is a big North/South oriented valley, located east of Innsbruck. To reach Ginsling, go to Mayrhofen then direction Zemmtal, Park at the exit of a tunnel (paravalanche barrier) on the right, near a farm with a stable. From here, you can check the conditions of the route on the grabite wall. The approach is about 1 hours, Be very careful to the conditions of the snow and do the wind temperature!
