The hardest trad trmultipitch in Japan

Hard climbing and long runouts

Keita Kurakami freed the hardest trad multipitch in Japan, at Mount Mizugaki. Senjitsu no Ruri is seven pitches long, with clmbing up to 8b+ and long runouts on trad gear, with potential for enormous falls. The climbing is technical and precarious on granite slopers.

These are the pitches:

1: 5.12R (35m)

 

2: 5.13cR (35m), Run Out 6m

 

3: 5.14aR (35m), Run Out 10m

 

4: 5.13dR/X (40m), Run Out 20m (!!!)

 

5:  5.10b (40m)

 

6: 3rd (50m)

 

7: 5.8 (20m alla vetta)
