New route and other ascents for Krištoffy e Krasnansky
21 January 2015
Jozo Krištoffy and Martin Krasnansky opened last month a new route in Wadi Rum, Jordan, called Fatal Attraction. This is a very interesting line 12 pitch and 420 meters long, with the hardest pitch at the beginning and a very funny sequence of difficult: 8a+, 6a, 6c, 7a, 7b.
Then, after the Champs- Élysée ledge, Fatal Attraction goes to connect to Remy route Ramedame till the top. For all Fatal Attraction, 11 spit were spent more belay.
After this new route, the duo did two interesting ascents. First Glory (6a, 6c, 8a+, 7c+/8a, 6c), opened by the strong climber Ofer Blutrich and done also by Klemen Becan, and Rock Empire (4, 6c, 7b+, 8a, 7b+, 6b, 7a, 6b, 5).
Fatal is in large part a trad climbing route. Nuts and friends, micro also, are required but also a good mental control during high difficult climbing with them.
