The exploit took place at a stage of FFCAM in the Chartreuse massif, near Saint Hilaire du Touvet. The route is eight pitches long (7a, 7b +, 7c, 8b/8b +, 7a +, 8a, 7c +, 8a +) for 250 meters and difficulty of 8b/8b +. According to Mussatto is a route comparable to Rätikon’s testpieces Specialized in climbing onsight and on extreme multipitch, Yann Ghesquiers has done in this style the crux (Gecko 8b+) of the famous Tough Enough on Karambony Madagascar. He redpointed also Hotel Supramonte in Sardinia - 11 pitches - 8b, in just over six hours. Source: Kairn Ph: ©fred L. Grimper
