HOJI PRO TOUR and PIN P49 by DYNAFIT win the ISPO Gold Award
DYNAFIT has won a double gold at the Munich trade fair dedicated to the winter news of the 2018/2019 season02 February 2018
The Italian brand based in Aschheim, near Munich, has won two ISPO Gold Awards: the Hoji Pro Tour ski mountaineering boot and the P49 pin attack have won the highest podium in the winter sports segment.
The ISPO Award is the recognition given each year by the ISPO International Fair in Munich to the best products in the sports sector. Independent technical juries evaluate hundreds of proposals according to rigorous criteria: this year around 400 pieces were screened, half of them in the winter sports segment.
The selection also includes two DYNAFIT products from the winter 2018/19 collection, which have won the Gold Award ambitions: the Hoji Pro Tour ski mountaineering boot has won the gold in the winter sports segment, the Freeride / Touring Boots category.
In a single gesture, the light and efficient climbing boot, which allows great freedom of movement, turns into a jewel of descent, solving forever the eternal dilemma of ski mountaineering: uphill or downhill?
For the winter sports segment, the Skitouring Bindings category, DYNAFIT presented the new P49 race pin, conquering the international jury. More than 30 years after the invention of the Low Tech attack, DYNAFIT with its P49 completely revolutionizes the concept of pins and inserts. The German engineers have succeeded in developing a tool of only 49 grams, more or less the weight of a bar of chocolate, which will make the ascent easier and more dynamic.
"DYNAFIT is the innovative company par excellence in the world of ski mountaineering, and the two ISPO Gold Awards show that we are on the right track - explains Benedikt Böhm, international director of DYNAFIT - Speed, lightness, technology and endurance: this represents DYNAFIT with its products , and of course also the Hoji boot and the P49 pin attachment embody these values perfectly. We have not been afraid to think differently, investing a lot of time and dedication in the search for real innovations. I like to think that the jury of ISPO has also wanted to reward our courage".
"[The Hoji Pro Tour boot is] A product we've been waiting for a long time. Perfect handling for the transition from ski to walk mode. Wonderful design and excellent fit". Sebastian Steinbach of blacksheepsports.
"With the excellent weight of just 49 grams, this pin attack reaches an unknown level. Changing the technology of the tip, P49 improves climb and performance". Jan Stala, winner of Become a Jury member.
