Dolomiti Open 2017: the magic of including mountain

Great success for the third edition of the Brenta Open event

18 September 2017
The initiative was attended by people with disabilities and not, each with their own goals to achieve.

After climbing to the Pedrotti refuge on Saturday, more than thirty people split into three groups with different goals.

A group, which was part of the disabled mountain climber Gianluigi Rosa, successfully attempted to climb the Campanile Basso along the normal way.

A second group went through the Bocchette Centrali, while the group of children with disabilities walked the path from the Pedrotti refuge to the Busa degli Sfulmini: a natural amphitheater to which Bach's notes, played by the Campanile Basso and the Sentinella, came.

The participation of children with disabilities from Emilia Romagna was possible thanks to the contribution of the Fondazione Prosolidar Onlus, the Maccaferri Foundation and Essse Caffè.

The organizers also thanked Climbing Technology and Evol technical partners for delivering the material, in addition to the project support involved.
