Born in a small village near Priboj in Serbia, Jovica Spajić grew up surrounded by magnificent mountains, in one of the most picturesque areas of Serbia.

Since 2012 he has been a leading athlete on the Serbian Ultramarathon team and has represented his country in the most significant endurance races in the world.
His important experience has allowed him to undertake the greatest and most extreme adventures that a human body can withstand by participating in the largest and most demanding races in the world where mental strength plays a fundamental role as well (IAU Ultramarathon, Icarus Florida Ultra Fest, Badwater, Athens World Trophy, Himalaya Ultra - The High, August TAHOE, Jungle Marathon, Namibia 2017, Endurance Run Moab).
His last great achievement was the victory he won at Arrowhead 135 last January 2019. It is an extremely demanding winter race in Northern Minnesota, one of the toughest endurance events on the planet in places where the temperature during the race drops below -50 degrees.
During this adventure Jovica used Ferrino products: the LYNX 30 and RADICAL 80 + 10 backpacks for transporting personal equipment, and faced the cold nights in the DIABLE 1200 sleeping bag, which protects from the cold up to extreme temperatures of - 37 °.
"During these Endurance Trail I experience unforgettable moments full of different emotions made of ups and downs, tears and smiles - said Jovica Spajić - It is necessary to have in addition to an exceptional physical preparation, also a strong mental stability, resistance to stress and ability to move for days with minimal food intake and fluids at temperatures between -50 and +50 degrees, without sleep. In Serbia, many young people follow my results trying to realize their dreams".
Jovica is now preparing for Ultrakleka, a very important 130 km trail in Serbia with the most challenging target in mind in 2020 among the Iditarod 1000 riders.
