VAUDE constantly takes on a more sustainable approach to environmental management during the process of production and distribution of its products. This involves the implementation of environmental standards for both providers and manufacturers, along with compliance with social standards in production.
To align its entire production process, including suppliers, to high social and environmental standards, VAUDE has launched a pilot project. As part of the program develoPPP.de VAUDE is giving support to its suppliers to introduce or increase the growth of environmental protection policies. The aim is to stimulate awareness and empowerment for some selected suppliers in the Asian markets (Vietnam, China, Taiwan), so that all the high social and environmental standards can be implemented in the production process. The project is planned for two years, after which it will become best practices for the textile industry.
