FERRINO: progetto SEVA
Climate change and sustainable tourism14 June 2019
A series of documentaries supported by FERRINO attempts to raise awareness about climate change and sustainable tourism.
The SEVA project was born from an idea by Simone Mazzini and Stefano Tiozzo, a well-known youtuber, documentarian and photographer. In August they will go to Iceland to shoot a documentary with the aim of raising public awareness on issues such as protecting the environment, respecting the ecosystem and protecting animal species at risk.
These important issues will be told directly and lightly through the history of a road trip in Iceland on very low emission hybrid cars. The proceeds from the sale of the documentary will go towards financing the creation of a forest in Madagascar.
"We have always been very close to those who practice outdoor activities responsibly - said Ferrino CEO Anna Ferrino - We like to combine our sponsorships with projects that aim to devolve funds into programs aimed at protecting the environment as in the case of SEVA to reforestation".
Ferrino has chosen to support this important project and in August he will travel to Iceland for the filming of the first documentary. Ferrino will dress the entire Seva team with performing products for the windy and rainy climate of the Icelandic summer: jacket in windproof and rainproof KUNENE model combined with Primaloft down jacket, SAGUARO model for the coldest and most humid days.
SEVA is a Sanskrit word that means unconditional service. To give an example, if by hypothesis a person spontaneously started to clean up the streets of their city from waste without expecting anything in return, he would do Seva for his city. SEVA is also the acronym of the founding concepts of the project: Sostenibilità, Evoluzione, Volontà e Amore.
