Millet Tour du Rutor Extrême 2022

The 20th edition of the race will be the Long Distance Skimo World Championship

31 March 2022
From March 31 to April 2, the Millet Tour du Rutor Extrême 2022, the ISMF/LGC Long Distance World Skimo Championship, will be staged in the Aosta Valley.

Three days of epic challenges, 75 km of real off-piste ski, 40 km of climbs, 32 km of acrobatic descents and 5 km of sharp ridges. It will be a real “extreme” competition and a real skialp race, beautiful to run, fantastic to follow.

Great champions and daring athletes are expected on the Rutor massif for the only Italian 2022 stage of La Grande Course, the circuit of the most prestigious ski mountaineering competitions in the entire Alps and Pyrenean mountain range.

The athletes of the absolute category will compete on three days of competition (31 March, 1 and 2 April 2022) and will race in teams (male and female) made up of two elements. The youth categories, the Under 20, Under 18 and Under 16 will compete in two days (1 and 2 April 2022) and will compete individually. The athletes of the Under 14 and Under 12 categories will also compete individually in a single day (April 2, 2022).
