Matteo Eydallin and Damiano Lenzi in pair with Adamello Ski Raid

Formations are being prepared for the Great Contest for the snoozing race

28 March 2017
Following the exploitation of the pair Eydallin-Lenzi at Pierra Menta, the two Italian ski jumps will also compete with Adamam Ski Raid, scheduled for April 2 and valid for "La Grande Course" and "Dolomiti Cup".

All the organizational dots are being made in view of Adamello Ski Raid on Sunday, April 2, the international challenge of ski mountaineering valid for the circuits "La Grande Course" and the Coppa delle Dolomiti.

An event entered into an exceptional landscaping landscape for its beauty and technicality, and definitely rich in meaning, as it goes back to some of the symbols of the Great War such as the Crest Cross Cannon 149 and the overlapping granite blessed cross By Pope John Paul II.

Conclusion of the entries with one month in advance due to the achievement of 350 pairs, the maximum stake fixed by the Adamello Ski Team, these days come to the inscriptions of top teams. Like those of the Army Sports Center which will be represented by the team formed by Matteo Eydallin and Damiano Lenzi, while Michele Boscacci will have the same petiery as Nadir Maguet. Also interesting is the Swiss pair formed by Werner Marti and Martin Anthamatten and the Austrian team with Jakob Hermann and Martin Weißkopf. Also featured on the grid are the Lombardy pair William Boffelli and Pietro Lanfranchi, as well as the one made up of Friulian Tadei Pivk and Franco Collè.
In the women's field French Laetitia Roux will pair with Spanish Claudia Galicia Cotrina, with ambitions of ultimate success. However, I look at the Swiss-Swiss team consisting of Axelle Mollaret and Jennifer Fietcher and the Spanish team with Marta Riba and Nahia Wuincoces.
Confirmed the race course now classic, which provides a difference of 4300 meters for 43 km of development.

The men's race will start at 5.30 pm from Tonalina (1.630 meters) with the first climb to the 2585 meters of Passo Paradiso, then another climb to the 2.966 meters of Passo Presena, where the first change of skins is scheduled. Then descend to the 2403 meters of Lake Mandrone, for a further trim change to reach 3,250 meters of the "Canalino Ski Raid". Continue towards the Lobbie with a suggestive passage right on the terrace of the "Ai Caduti dell'Adamello" shelter. From there, the climb to Cresta Croce and the cannon at 3,300 meters. The immense expanse of Snow Plow will bring athletes on the top of Adamam, the highest point of the race with its 3,539 meters. Follow the hill to the 3390 meters of the Pass of the Italians, then the descent along the north side of the Corno Bianco, the climb to the 3,230 meters of Passo Venezia, then descend along the splendid itinerary of the Pisgana, passing through the 2,530 meters of the homonymous Lake, then the last 10 km up to 1,250 meters of the Ponte di Legno finish. For women the same route, but with the highest starting point, to 2,585 meters of Paradiso Pass at 6:00.
