Edmond Joyeusaz made the first complete descent of the south wall of Weisshorn (4,505 m).

Edmond, incredible skier and Alpine guide from Courmayer completed this first ski downhill in the southern wall of Weisshorn, Switzerland.

As for the difficulty, we talk about 1,100 m in altitude, with an average slope of 50 ° / 60 °. Edmond had to jump in the double rope by skiing at his feet in the starting gulet (70 °) because he was not skiable.

He rated this downgrade as Ed / S7, one of the hardest he has done so far.
