Damiano Lenzi and Matteo Eydallin win the first leg of Pierra Menta

After the great success of the World Cups, another podium for Italian ski mountaineers

In the wake of the Italian success of the Transcavallo-Alpago World Cups, our athletes Damiano Lenzi and Matteo Eydallin won the first leg of Pierra Menta.

The international freeride race is a fixed event since 1986. Organized in France at Arêches-Beaufort en Savoie, the Pierra Menta runs in 4 stages scheduled for 4 consecutive days (8-11 March) for a total of 10,000 mt of altitude difference positive.

At the end of the 4 stages a general ranking will be drawn up to determine the absolute winners of the Pierra Menta.
