Last weekend Val di Fiemme hosted the first Italian edition of the shortest and steepest race that existed. 400 meters with a positive difference of 135 meters. Here is the recap video of the race.
Over 400 runners from all over the world have been challenged to win as fast as possible the top of the ski jumping trampoline at Stadio G. Dal Ben of Predazzo.
In the category of men to climb on the first step of the podium Slovenian Matjaz Miklosa with a time of 03: 41.26 followed by Slovak Tomáš Čelko (03: 55.46), already winner in the editions of Bischofshofen (Austria) and Harrachov (Czech Republic) in 2016 Third ranked Red Bull athlete Alessandro Pittin (03: 58.33), champion of the Italian National Team of the Nordic Combined with 15 podiums in the World Cup, Olympic bronze in Vancouver 2010 and World Silver at Falun 2015.
In the individual women's trials was Australian Margaret Reeves (05: 03.80) to win the win, behind him the Olympic founder and Olympic medalist Antonella Confortola (05.08.18) and Valdostana runner Roberta Jacquin (05: 16.82).
Winners in the bracket Braito, Mariani, Delvai and Ticcò, with a time of 02: 24.65.
On July 15, the top ranked individual men's and women's individual categories will be summoned to Titisee-Neustadt (Germany) to attend the Red Bull 400 World Championship.
